Back 2 school

Se acabaron las vacaciones y con el colegio empezaron las fiestitas y las fiestotas ... y uno que otro tonazo ja ! Empiezan a llegar en la agenda y el message book las invitaciones para los cumpleaños ... cada una mas ingeniosa que la otra ...  los chicos tienen ganas de ir y ver a sus amigos, nosotras tambien estamos mas dispuestas a quedarnos y compartir con nuestras amigas... y es que todos nos reencontramos despues de un rico verano en la playa.

El clima sigue rico para celebrar al aire libre y los chicos todavia tienen pocas tareas y actividades extracurriculares. Estos meses son perfectos para celebrar.

Hay varios temas lindos nuevos que voy a estrenar este año y me gustria compratirlos con ustedes en un post que ya se viene. En estos dias estoy trabajando en  3 cumpleanos clasicos ... Ben 10, Disney y Spiderman. Y estoy creando 2 temas nuevos, el Mago de OZ para una fiesta de adultos y Monster High.

Holidays are over and with the begining of classes, big & small parties are well on their way ... invitations for our little ones are coming home inside the message books and agendas, and our kids are more than happy to attend, even us mums feel like going and chatting with other mums .. hell yeah ! its nice to reacquaint with our kids friends parents after a long summer at the beach.

The weather is still nice here to celebrate outdoors, and the kids are still bringing home little homework and have few extracurricular activities. This months are perfect party times.

There are many cute new birthday themes I'd like to try this year and I'll be sharing them with you in an upcoming post ... Very soon ! These days I've been working on # classic birthdays; Ben 10, Disney and Spiderman. Also I'm creating 2 new themed birthdays ... Finding ideas and inspirations for a Wizard of OZ and Monster high parties.

Estos 3 toldos circulares  son perfectos para el verano, y para esos meses donde todavia dsifrutamos de un clima soleado. 

Los temas nuevos que estoy creando seran algo asi ... la proxima semana debo ir a buscar los detalles como envases, macetas, etc ... Les ire contando que encuentro y donde ... vamos a peinar la ciudad ! jaja

This 3 circular tents are percfect for summer and warm weather. 

This is how the 3 new themed birthdays I'm working on will probably look like ...next week i must start looking for decorations, such as vases and other bowls... I will be sharing what marvels i find ... we're going to comb the city ! jaja

Wizard of OZ 

Usando de inspiracion el vestidito de cuadros de Dorothy y sus clasicos tacos rojos (si le echo la culpa de que todas las chicas amemos nuestros pumps rojos -"no hay lugar como casa".) creo que tenemos un tema ganador ... para darle un toque de fantasia, algo de tul rojo que contraste con la simplicidad del vichy celeste con blanco. Para el toque rustico y de espantapajaros, pacas de heno.

mandilitos, lentejuelas rojas , perritos terrier que recuerden a Totto el perro de Dorothy.

Para darle movimiento torres de cupcakes, envaces de dulces de vidrio llenos de golosinas , galletas decoradas y banderolas. 

Using Dorothy's dress as inspiration, and her signature red heels (yes i think that explains why we all girls love our red pumps - "there is no place like home"). I think we have a winner ... and to add some fantasy I thought some red tulle could come in handy, which can contrast with the down to earth white/light blue checkered linens. For the rustic touch, hay and scarecrows. Aprons, red sequins, Terrier dogs that remind us of Totto dorothy's faithfull companion. To give the table setting some movement, tiered cupcake towers, glass candy vases filled with colorfull treats, iced cookies and bunting.

Piernas de la bruja mala del oeste, caminos de ladrillo amarillo conduciendonos de la entrada a la fiesta, torta y frutas (para la fuente de chocolate) de arcoiris. Galletas en forma de zapatos y pomitos con corazones rojos de chocolate/gomitas en forma de corazon .

Wicked witch of the west legs, yellow brick roads welcoming us and showing us the way to the party, rainbow cake and fruits (for the chocolate fountain). Shoe shaped sugar cookies and jars filled with red chocolate hearts or gummies.

Unos lindos cupcakes de chocolate con piernas de bruja de masa elastica ... o podemos hacer de esto la torta grande ... super linda y diferente, la tarjeta de invitacion... podria recordarmos a la pelicula. Todos estos detalles de hecho nos transportan a OZ ... y quien no  visto esta bella pelicula ... podria ser lindo poner un proyector en el jardin que la pase no ? 
que tal invitar a un grupo de amigos a ver una pelicula de epoca en el jardin, con proyector , repartimos mantas para que todos se sienten , carrito de canchita ... mesa con dulces y golosinas, vinitos, quesos , canastas  y una linda decoracion que nos recuerde a la pelicula ... uy ya se como voy a hacer mi cumpleanos #33  !!! pronto post de ..

Cute chocolate cupcakes with witch legs made of fondant ... or maybe try to make the cake this way  ... super nice and original, The invitations ... reminding us of the classic movie. All this details take us back to OZ ... and who hasn't seen this one of a kind movie ... would be something to have a group of friends over for a movie in the garden, with a projector, blankets, popcorn machine ... table station with candies, wine, cheese, baskets and an unforgettable decoration that reminds us to of movie... OMG ... that's how I want to celebrate my birtday #33 !!! post coming ...

Monster high

Nada como negro y fuxia para celebrar el cumple de una niña de manera modena, estas muñequitas al estilo de barbie pero zombie/vampiras esta super de moda y se me ocurriero ponerle casilleros de escuela secundaria (lockers) como decoracion estos podrian tener calcomanias, tambien mochilas y cuadernos cosas que nos recuerden a una escuela secundaria. Para el toque sorpresa, unos dientes de vamiro, labios gruesos y esmaltes y carteras huge ... en espuma ....
El detalle de la calavera glam ... y con alguna tela escocesa como las faldas esa que estuvieron de moda cuando yo tenia 15 ja ! lindo tema.

Black and pink to celebrate a girls birhday, very edgy and happening, this dolls barbie style but zombie/vampire are very fashionable these days. I thought lockers, backpacks,notebooks and stuff that reminds us of high school. For the suprise factor, vampire teeth, big lips, big nail polish and handbags ... made of foam.
The glam skull is a great detail ... acompanied by a plaid fabric in the style of school girl skirts that were fashionable back when I was 15 ha! very nice theme.
